it doesn't have to be that same building. I like the layout of the manor since first time I played the dungeon and always thought this could be a great guildhall compared to almost all other buildings in the game, this is by far the most 'house/guildhall' like building I have seen.
This game had a seperate housing area out side of the game zone. It was always populated due to being able to set up craft tables, trophy sections etc.. Also real estate was player based, and owning a deed to the land was a big market. Some houses were cheap 100k or so to fully upgrade.

yes, it has the best mmorpg pvp and a better pvp than most other multiplayer games. Deviathan. Some elite specializations are locked behind expansions, but there are viable builds for free players too (core Necromancer, Ranger, Guardian, etc all have very solid meta builds) You can totally just play PvP, many do.
