Hi all long time since I've posted in the mondeo section haha.. This pig of a 2.0 tdci will not regen itself at all now and down not force regeneration in this thread in this sub-forum in the entire site
The third-generation, 2.0-litre TDCi–engined Ford Mondeo, and associated S-Max and Galaxy derivatives produced from 2007 to 2014, feature a DPF coated with a platinum-based catalyst. The catalyst lowers the temperatures needed to start burning the carbon build-up in the DPF and is designed to last about 120,000 miles.
Does anyone know what the signs are for DPF regeneration on the 2.0 TDCi. Would a burning smell, like the smell you get when a new exhaust is fitted, be apparent? I had this today but it went away quite quickly. Car has done about 900 miles
hi need some help or advice as getting to a point of having enough. Have a 08 mondeo 2.0 tdci. 3weeks ago it went into safe mode was towed to garage and was told that the dpf was not regen. the ford garage then tried to regen the dpf only for the system to crash and shut down.
