What are the recommended intervals for Inspection I vs Inspection II for an E46 M3? I'm looking at one with 25k kms - it had it's last service at about 15,000kms, and is due for a service in about 5000kms (guessing that would've been just a basic oil change, etc).. I'm getting a full inspection done this week, but was wondering whether an

Oil Changes - Condition Based Servicing (CBS) system. I bought a new 2020 BMW 330i last November, and just had it in for my first service at 7,000 miles. To prolong the life of my engine, and prevent expensive problems from occurring down the road (this is my 5th BMW) -- I am considering having the oil changed every 5,000 miles, even if it's at Brake fluid is hygroscopic and even if your car sits in a garage for 2 years, fluid will attract moisture which lowers maximum temperature fluid can handle which can create air pocket, which leads to brake failure. Once brake fluid moisture content goes over 1%, it is time for change. Nothing to do with BMW! M.
Alternative Method to Reset BMW Brake Light. Insert the key into the ignition. Turn on the ignition, but do not start the engine. Press and hold the BC button until time and mileage appear on the instrument cluster center. Next, press and hold the ODO Reset button. A yellow triangle will show up first.
